{ It's Finally Christmas Time!! }

I definitely slacked when it came to posting for November so let's sum up what we did! :)

My silly Husband chopped up our wood to use in our fireplace!

And then he planked on his planks.

We celebrated Thanksgiving with some friends!! (Photo below does not belong to me)

Jonathan's brother, Ben, came home from his mission!! We got to meet him in Chicago during his layover!! It was awesome and we are so excited that he home!! Christmas is going to be awesome this year!!
Waiting for us at the airport!

We celebrated our 5th anniversary!!! Crazy!!! That day we exchanged gifts, went to get some AWESOME sushi for dinner (Shiro), had our first fire in the fireplace of the season, and watched our wedding video! It was a wonderfully relaxing evening!! It's been the most incredible five years of my life! I'm so blessed to have this man in my life!

My new Fossil wallet that I LOVE!!

Jonathan's new wedding ring that is comfy enough to wear in lab!

And last, but certainly not least, we decorated our house for Christmas!! Always so much fun!!

{ Anniversary & Thanksgiving }

So we celebrated our anniversary on Wednesday the 23rd! It was really fun! It kind of felt like we got to have our anniversary twice as both days were filled with extra doses of love and admiration! We watched our wedding video, made sushi, and looked through this years photos to decided which ones we want to put in our album (all of which are yearly traditions)! We also decided that we wanted to start a new tradition since we have a fireplace now! We want to build our first fire on our anniversary! So we did that this year too, which of course consisted of Jon having to cut wood! It was so much fun and oh so toasty warm!!!

The many funny faces of my husband!

Before we started the fire we found these little ash-y pawprints on the hearth, maybe we shouldn't have left the fireplace doors open. :)

Our first fire! See the little bits of green from the newspaper? We decided that bits of Floo Powder must have gotten on the paper.

It was a really wonderful day and we really enjoyed just spending time with each other!

For Thanksgiving this year we stayed at home and celebrated just the two of us! The only other time we've done that was the year we got married because we were on our honeymoon!! This year we prepared lots of delicious food and tried some fabulous new recipes, among those were a pretty fantastic gravy made by yours truly and an awesome pecan pie made by my talented husband!! We always have a lot of fun cooking together and we definitely enjoyed the holiday!!

{ All I Need Is Love }

Today I have been married to my amazing husband for 4 years!!!

I can't even believe it's been 4 years already!! It has gone by so fast and has been the best times of life!!! My husband is everything I could ask for and so so much more!! I feel so lucky to have snatched him up for myself and we still have all of eternity to enjoy being together!!

Today did not really work out with our schedules however.  I had to work today and Jonathan has been studying all day (literally) because he has one of his toughest quizzes this weekend.  Even so, we still made today great.  I surprised Jon with some treats that we remember fondly from our honeymoon and he wrote me the sweetest letter and left it for me to find when I got off of work.  It was all I needed, it was so wonderful!

I am planning on taking pictures sometime soon, I have a little shoot in my head planned out, I just need to find the time to make it happen.

Later tonight we are going to get a pizza and watch our wedding video together! I'm very excited! We are also going to officially celebrate our anniversary on Wednesday and that will be great too!

Oh! And Jon also gave up on Movember.  He hasn't had the time to raise any money so he is just growing a mustache for no reason.  He hated it (and so did I) so he decided to shave it off today!  Here are some photos of him with his 'stache!

The Best Three Years

Jon and I just celebrated our 3rd year anniversary!!!  I cannot even believe that it has been 3 years!!! We have done so many things and our lives have changed in so many ways! We are more in love than ever and we couldn't be happier!

On our anniversary we slept in a little and just enjoyed each other.  Then we got up and made sushi for lunch!!!! It was so yummy! We haven't made sushi in a long time and it was a blast.  We definitely made more than we could eat so we saved what we couldn't devour!  We made some new rolls too!! We made a Michigan roll that had yellow and blue on top! It was delish!!

After we ate we got packed and hit the road.  We drove to Cleveland, listening to a book on CD on the way.  We LOVE road trips and driving so even that part was a blast!  We got some tasty snacks a bit before we got to the hotel and we spent the rest of the night relaxing, being alone, eating the leftover sushi, soaking our feet in bath salts in the tub, going through pictures from this year, and having a blast together!!! It was so much fun!!   I got Jon a big pack of his favorite pasta, which is really hard to find, and a book called Soul Pancake, which was written by Rainn Wilson (Dwight from The Office!).  He loved it! He got me an awesome necklace, angel wing earrings, and a bracelet with a key on it!  He is SUCH an amazing listener!! He pays attention to things I tell him.  He knows I LOVE keys and wings and he even shopped at Icing, which I took him too before Fall Ball to get my jewelry.  He is AMAZING!!!

On the way home we stopped at a store called Bronners! It is the LARGEST CHRISTMAS STORE IN THE WORLD!! Or so they claim, and it was ENORMOUS!! It is open all year and always sells Christmas trees.  They had everything you could ever want!! It was so awesome!!!

It was an fantastic anniversary!!!
